Senior Session 411

June is right around the corner and that means it’s just about time for all you fabulous juniors to book your senior photo session. Here is what I want you to know about the way I shoot senior photos.

First off, we’ll choose a day and time. Typically I try to book sessions on the weekends or evenings. I love evening shoots because the lighting is gorgeous. Once we know the day and time, we’ll choose a location. If there’s a place you’re familiar with and want to go to that’s great! We can make it happen. If you need suggestions I have a few favorite spots that I like to do sessions at, and I am willing to travel a bit if it means getting the right spot for you.

Sessions last about 90 minutes and on average 2-3 outfit changes are typical. The session fee is due the day of the session. I accept cash and check payments.

After the session it takes about 2-3 weeks to get your photos on a disc. Your disc will include about 50 high resolution photos on the disc that you get to keep and use for printing.

How soon should you book your session? Honestly, it’s never too early. Spots are already starting to fill up and I will only be doing 20 sessions this summer, so please contact me if you’re considering a session or if you have any questions.

Thank you and have a beautiful day!

The Twins Turn 1

Meet the twins: Easton and Elliot, or East and Elle. The first time I photographed them they were tini tiny and oh so sweet. Just a couple weeks ago they celebrated their first birthday. I felt so honored when Ashley asked me to photograph their birthday party. When you think about it, that’s a smart mom. Not having to worry about taking pictures at this fun milestone allowed her and Brad to enjoy the madness and soak in all the love. The party was a success as lots of family and friends gathered to celebrate these two little people that are adored more than they’ll ever know!

The Guy Family

It was great meeting the Kate, Tyler and their two little girls. We did their session at Zenith Vineyards in West Salem. Field 2 in the vineyard had red clover that was in full bloom. It was absolutely breath taking. Then there was the 30 year old horse Razzle Be Dazzle that gets to roam free around the grounds. He is blind but he sure knows how to find his way around the place. The chickens were good for entertainment and the rustic barn doors provided the perfect opportunity to play peak-a-boo. Thank you Guy family! Enjoy these images from your session!
