This was my first time out to the Abbey and I found it stunning. It is a sanctuary. Izzy shared this special place with me as we wondered around the old buildings, gardens and arched walk ways. This is a special place to Izzy and her family. Her dad loves the Abbey and occassionally takes his family there just to walk around. I can see why. Thank you Izzy for sharing this special place with me. I hope you enjoy these images!
I love Kristi! It’s as simple as that. I consider her family and there’s not much I wouldn’t do for this girl. She is beautiful, inside and out. Here is your sneak peak Kristi!!
Molly’s session started out with perfect lighting…the sky was grey but not too dark. Then about 30 minutes into her session the sky decided to start sprinkling. It wasn’t too bad. Just a little drop here and there. “I can work with this,” I thought. Then it started pooring. A lot. Molly was so gracious and decided to just have fun with it. She even spent the last 30 minutes posing and playing in the rain for me in a wide open field. There were no trees to take shelter under. Let me tell you all, she worked it! I loved this session so much. Thanks Molly for making the best of a potentially horrible situation! You’re a rock star! I hope you love these images for your sneak peak!
When my friend Megan asked me if I would like to go on an all expenses paid trip to Cancun, Mexico with her I literally laughed in her face. I was sure she was totally joking. Turns out, she was totally serious. A couple weeks ago our adventure finally arrived and we were on a plane to the beautiful beaches of South Eastern Mexico. I never dreamed I would actually go to a place like this. I had accepted the fact that I would probably only admire such places while watching movies or flipping through cheap calendars at book stores.
The first time we walked onto the beach, I was amazed at how soft the sand was. It was like powder, a piece of Heaven making it’s way between my neatly pedicured toes. To say that the water was warm, is an understatement. It was perfect and clear as glass. The evenings flaunted beautiful sunsets that left the floating clouds looking like something out of a pixar movie. Everything was perfect. Better than I could have imaged, and now that I’ve been there and done that, I don’t have to imagine what it would look like or feel like anymore because I actually know.
I can’t thank Megan enough for asking me to go with her. I guess I should also thank her husband for letting me take his spot. I will never forget this experience or the meaningful, deep, and entertaining conversations we had while looking at the stars. You are a dear friend and I love you inside and out.
Here are some photos from our trip that I wanted to share with the rest of you. I hope to one day return to this paradise and feel the soft white sand between my toes one more time.
I absolutely loved being able to do Jennifer’s senior photos. For starters, she’s family so that makes it even more special for me. My favorite thing about Jen, other than her sweet personality, would most definitely have to be her green eyes. I have never seen anything like them. Everytime she looked at me though my lens I was like, “Whoa, you’re eyes are so beautiful!!” She would smile and humbly and on we would go. Thanks Jen for the awesome time together during your senior photos. I am honored to have been a part of this special time in your life. Hope you enjoy these sneak peaks! HUGS!
