Ward Family Session | Salem, Oregon Photographer | Yellow Arrow Photography

I haven’t posted in a while so I thought it would be a great time to share a family session I did back in September. Megan set it up for her family and the timing was great because her little guy was almost exactly a year old. Her son reminds me of my own son at that age and how I miss my little ones bald round head. Anyway, Megan also designed my logo! There were only a handful of people that I discussed Yellow Arrow with and she was one of them and she was able to see my vision and help bring the symbolism to life. She is crazy talented and I am so grateful she was willing to work with me. I am glad that I got to return the favor and capture these images for her and her family.

Thanks again Megan! God Bless!

The Terpening Family

I was honored to do a family session for the Terpenings. I first met Amanda my freshman year of high school. She was a senior. Not many upper classman associated with the lower classmen but Amanda was different. She led a group of girls every Thursday morning before school started through a Bible study. We would meet at Cafe Today, which is now the Sassy Onion, and Amanda would have verses picked out for us to read through and discuss. She genuinely cared about my life and she wanted Christ to be a part of it.

Amanda married her high school sweet heart after college. They are a great example to other couples and families. I really enjoyed our time together and catching the personalities of their sweet kids as they played.

Thank you Aaron and Amanda! Hope you enjoy these images!

Mitch’s Senior Photos | Salem, Oregon Photographer | Yellow Arrow Photography

This was a fun session, mainly because Mitch was hilarious! He was such a nice guy and put up with three girls guiding him on how to sit, stand, cross his arms, uncross his arms, lean this way, look over there…and so on. It was awesome seeing his personality come through in the photos and just roll with it. Thanks for having such a great attitude Mitch! I wish you the best for your senior year!! Hope mom enjoys these sneak peaks! 😉
