I know I say this every year, but seriously, 2015 was full of beautiful moments and was quite possibly the best yet as far as photography goes. It was a year of growth, challenges, risks, failures, accomplishments, and my personal favorite, wonderful people. Old, young, and everything in between. Three years ago I thought about giving up this dream of creating photos. My confidence was shattered to say the least. The key to overcoming this has been: 1. NEVER comparing myself to photographers that make a SERIOUS living at this work. That only breeds jealously and envy which are 2 things that will get me no where. 2. Focusing on what I am good at. 3. Trying new things, even when I’m scared sh*tless about failing. Here is a look back at my 2015 year. There were so many of you that I couldn’t get all of the wonderful people I photographed but please know that the gratiude I feel for each of you is emense. Thank you for investing in my work and I am so excited to see what 2016 will bring.
